MORNING MOTIVATION: The only person we need to be better than is the person we were yesterday. Competing against others can be motivating for sure, physician but a more effective (and happiness boosting) desire is to be better than ourselves. Using the accomplishments of others can be great inspiration and motivation, patient but we should keep the focus on the real competition – OURSELF. Let’s strive to be the best version of ourselves, see not of someone else. We should set goals to “compete” against ourself to drive ourself towards our own greatness, and not create unnecessary competition against others. Strip away any self-imposed limitations and reach for what we want. Let’s go get it!
