Amazing Guilt-Free Protein Banana Cream Pie!

This little slice of delicious witchcraft was inspired by BPI Sports’ Whey HD Protein Powder! BPI Sports reached out to me a while ago to test some of their products and I was blown away, to say the least. I have yet to try their other flavors, but the Vanilla Caramel flavor was so amazing I decided I had to create one of my comfort food hacks with this awesome protein powder! Upon tasting this flavor I immediately thought it would work perfectly in a banana cream pie hack and it absolutely does! There is no added sugar or fat in this (not even in the crust)! This dreamy, creamy pie is kitchen wizardry at it’s finest, my friends!  ♥J

I wish I had a BPI discount code for you guys. If you substitute a different protein powder, make sure it’s got good flavor.

 

Guilt-free Protein Banana Cream Pie
Yields 1
A low fat, low sugar protein banana cream pie!

For the crust
  1. 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  2. 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  3. 3 tbsp nonfat plain greek yogurt
For the filling
  1. 5 medium bananas
  2. 2 scoops BPI Sports Whey HD protein powder in Vanilla Caramel
  3. 8oz fat free cream cheese
For garnish
  1. 1 medium banana
  2. TruWhip or Fat Free Whip Cream (optional - this is still delicious without the whip)
  3. dash of cocoa powder or chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a medium bowl mix together graham cracker crumbs, unsweetened cocoa powder and yogurt.
  3. Press mixture firmly into 9” pie pan (or 4 individual dessert oven-safe ramekins).
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes.
  5. Set aside to cool.
  6. In a food processor, blend bananas until creamy.
  7. Add protein powder a bit at a time, being sure to scrape sides after each blend.
  8. Add cream cheese and blend out lumps until consistency is creamy.
  9. Pour into cooled pie crust and set in refrigerator until chilled (approximately 1 hour).
  10. Garnish as desired before serving.
