Killer Legs 200 Lunges Challenge: Body Sculpt Strength Workout #13

Here’s another Body Sculpt Strength Series workout and it’s a leg & booty lunge challenge. Although this works primarily the lower body, I have designed this one with a lot of single leg stability work, so your core is going to really get it too! Single-leg and stability work really challenges the body and intensifies the move, so effectiveness is maximized. MOVE OF THE WEEK: Tabata bing, Tabata boom basketball jumps!!! HIIT Basketball jumps really get your heart rate soaring! It is a super efficient calorie burning total body move. This move never fails to get my heart rate up super high! The video is sped up so it doesn't look like the jumps are high, but they are - jump as high as you can while still keeping a fast pace, during the interval.

Technique:

1) From a standing position, holding a weight or weighted ball, squat partway down and take a WIDE lateral step with your right foot keeping your body low. 
2) Immediately follow with your left foot, bringing it to your right and then explosively jump vertically, extending your ams as if you are going to shoot a basket.

3) Repeat alternating directions for a 4 minute Tabata (20 seconds on 10 seconds off). Have fun!

MOVE OF THE WEEK: Tabata bing, Tabata boom basketball jumps!!! HIIT Basketball jumps really get your heart rate soaring! It is a super efficient calorie burning total body move. This move never fails to get my heart rate up super high! The video is sped up so it doesn’t look like the jumps are high, but they are – jump as high as you can while still keeping a fast pace, during the interval.

Combat Fat Burner HIIT is the 14th workout in the Lean Body Series and it’s a another full-on calorie burn with a high after-burn effect (link in bio)! It’s a super fun one too! There is a kickboxing interval in this workout, which is always a fun way to blast that fat and tone those muscles! We’re also doing 40/30 with no rest period (yes that’s right 40/30!).
