You know that voice in your head? The one that says, “You can’t do it.” “You’re going to fail.” That voice belongs to self-doubt. And we all know very well that we shouldn’t listen to that voice...but sometimes we just can’t help it and we do listen...and then we start to believe it. 
Next time self-doubt starts jabbering on saying, “You can’t do it” reply, “I can’t do it…YET, but I’m working on it.” Or, the next time self-doubt starts throwing around the “F” word (“fail”), respond by saying, “What if I fail? Then I’ll try again.” Self-doubt never disappears. I certainly can’t imagine myself free of it. It rears it’s ugly head every time we get out of our comfort zone, or strive to do something great, or when we start comparing ourselves to others. But, over time, by reframing our self-doubt, we become better at managing it and that’s when we turn self-doubt into success. When we appreciate and strive for being our best selves (rather than versions of someone else) we really kick self-doubt to the curb! We need to always remember that our doubts are only thoughts, not our future.

The most effective way to get a toned and lifted backside is to attack with a 3 pronged approach: strength training, cardio and diet. So for this workout we are going to up our calorie burn by taking limited rest breaks in between exercises to get our heart rate elevated while we work on the strength exercises targeting our backside. For the diet component follow along with the Fitness As A Lifestyle Challenges in J's Fit Hits episodes to supplement all your hard work!

This equipment-optional workout really targets the glutes for a defined, tight, and lifted booty. This is not just a squat challenge, we are hitting our booties at all angles with many different exercises! This workout is actually more than 300 reps because we count 6 low walking lunges as 1 rep. Do 2 rounds of this workout for a 600 rep challenge, or 3 rounds for a 900 rep challenge!
