This is the sixth workout in my Lean Body Series. Yay, for those of you who have made it this far! Awesome job!
One round of this workout is 16 minutes of pure Tabata torture! Tabata intervals are 20/10 (20 seconds at your max intensity and 10 seconds of full rest). A good way to gauge your intensity level is to determine if you can still move around during those 10 seconds of rest. If you can, then you need to go harder on the 20 second intervals and make sure you take each 10 second rest period fully. Dr. Tabata developed and tested this protocol and it’s super effective. Listen to your body though, if you need to lower your intensity please do so and feel good that you are working hard for your health and fitness. Be proud of your efforts! 🙂 You rock!
If you are just joining us, the Lean Body Series workouts are designed to burn fat and tone muscle. This series will challenge your body and help you break through any plateaus. All fitness levels can do this series – just go at your own pace within the timed interval and take modifications, if you need to.
